JFK Moonlanding
On May 25, 1961, President John F. Kennedy delivered a historic speech before a joint session of Congress that set the United States on a path to landing astronauts on the moon. Known as the "Special Message to the Congress on Urgent National Needs" or simply the "Moon Speech," it was a defining moment in the space race between the United States and the Soviet Union.
By announcing the moon launch, Kennedy aimed to showcase American scientific and engineering capabilities, as well as assert U.S. leadership in space exploration. The success of the moon landing was seen as a significant victory for the United States in the Cold War. There are many “theories” and speculation however as to whether or not we even went to the moon, or if it was simply a lie to make us appear superior during the Cold War. or perhaps something happened that deterred our return and halted the Soviet Union’s attempts…
This Mag is a depiction of these events and also throws in some subtle details or what might be considered “easter eggs” regarding the moon launch announcement and eventual assassination of JFK.
We may never know what actually happened or if the two events were indeed connected.
PRODUCT DETAILS (30 Round)
The next-generation PMAG 30 AR/M4 GEN M3 is a 30-round polymer magazine for AR15/M4 compatible weapons chambered in 5.56x45 NATO / .223 Remington. Along with expanded feature set and compatibility, the GEN M3 incorporates new material technology and manufacturing processes for enhanced strength, durability, and reliability that exceed rigorous military performance specifications.
While the GEN M3 is optimized for Colt-spec AR15/M4 platforms, modified internal and external geometry also permits operation with a range of additional weapons, such as the HK® 416/MR556A1/M27 IAR, British SA-80, FN® SCAR™ MK 16/16S, and others.
Similar to the MOE® PMAG, the GEN M3 features a long-life USGI-spec stainless steel spring for commonality, a four-way anti-tilt follower, constant-curve internal geometry for reliable feeding, and simple tool-less disassembly for easy cleaning.
The PMAG 30 GEN M3 also includes a redesigned bolt catch notch in the rear of the magazine that provides increased bolt catch clearance, while an over-travel stop on the spine helps ensure the magazine will not over-insert on compatible weapons. Low profile ribs and new, aggressive front and rear texture give positive control of the GEN M3 in all environments, and a paint pen dot matrix has been added to the bottom panel of the body to allow easy marking for identification. The new, easy to disassemble flared floorplate aids extraction and handling of the magazine while providing improved drop protection, but is slightly slimmer than before for better compatibility with tight double and triple magazine pouches.

The PMAG 10/30 AR/M4 GEN M3 is a 10-round polymer magazine for AR15/M4 compatible weapons chambered in 5.56x45 NATO/.223 Remington. It was designed for users who reside in areas with magazine capacity restrictions but desire a standard 30-round magazine form.
Built in-line with our other PMAGS, the PMAG 10/30 provides the same next-gen impact and crush resistance, constant curve geometry, and long-life stainless-steel spring to ensure smooth feeding. We’ve added a proprietary lock plate that reduces the maximum capacity to 10 rounds, and it’s permanently secured by an aluminum rivet. A lock plate tab that’s clearly marked for capacity is also included. With the standard 30-round magazine form, the PMAG 10/30 maintains mag pouch compatibility while complying with local restrictions.
The PMAG 10/30 includes other features found throughout the GEN M3 line. State mag laws
Fourteen states and the District of Columbia have enacted laws that generally ban the sale, manufacture, and other commerce or conduct with large capacity ammunition magazines. Those states are: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.
